I joined my local art community, Biloela Area Visual Artists Inc, in early 2006 & started attending regular workshops locally and interstate.
Workshops are meeting my needs at this point in time. Ideally I would like to be attending more formal art studies on a regular basis, but this is not an option for me at the moment due to my location in rural, Central Queensland. I don’t see my location however, as setting me back in any way. In fact, I feel I have been given more opportunities to exhibit & more media coverage, than I may have gotten in a larger community, for which I am very grateful for.
